Arsenal – Fulham Match Thread

Lineups are in:

Arsenal: Starters: Flaps, Sagna, Clichy, Slo, Disastre, Eboue, Diaby, Nasri, Walcott, Arshavin, van Persie. Bench: Mannone, Vela, Djourou, Gibbs, Merida, Eastmond, Lansbury

Fulham: Starters: Schwarzer, Pantsil, Baird, Smalling, Shorey, Riise, Greening, Dikgacoi, Dempsey, Nevland, Okaka Bench: Zuberbuhler, Kelly, Gera, Murphy, Stoor, Davies, Elm

No real surprises there — I had expected Eastmond to play the holding role, but instead Eboue comes into midfield for added attacking prowess. And Arshavin returns to the starting lineup, hopefully he can provide a spark for the club. For Fulham, quite a few second-stringers come into the lineup, so hopefully we’ll be able to take advantage.

Let’s end the season on a high note. Come on Arsenal.

A loanee player named Henri Landsbury played during the second half. I wanted to see him, but the stream left.

He has a lot of potential (more than Merìda in my opinion) and can definitely become more of an asset than Denilson. Being an english player, him along with Wilshere, Rhys Murphy, Jay Emmanuel Thomas a.k.a JET and Gibbs will show that Arsenal's reserve homegrown talent can match Barcelona's.

yea i agree with u gigi i hope there are no injuries in the world cup, in a way its good that fabregas wont be playing very much for spain cos we need him wrapped up in cotton wool for next season. Looking forward to the transfer dealings now, and ofcourse portsmouth and fulham winning the fa/europa cup :) !

I am so happy it erases (at least for a couple of days) og all our suffering.
WE got our 3rd place/ we finished above spurs, life is good!!
Dindt see it cause stupid fox lat am didnt broadcast it, but seeing goals from RvP, my beloved Arsha and Velita who had let me down when my hopes in him were high...gives an even better taste to that 3rd/ better than last season/ above spurs place.

less than half an hour in, and everything seems to be decided. arsenal and chelsea leading by two, chelsea up against 10 men. good season.
