Full Time: Arsenal 7-0 Slavic Prague

By: Trent | October 23rd, 2007

champions-league.jpgA sweet demolition of an outmanned competitor. A stated earlier, Alex Hleb was the man of the match for me, and his two goals were joined by two from Cesc, two from Theo, and the coup de grĂ¢ce from Nik Bendtner, who came on as a sub. Good lord, what a display of football.

The perfect start continues apace. More as the dust settles from this one.

And oh yeah: Alumnia started in goal.

A pretty insane performance. 9 points and 11-0 scoring in three CL matches … damn … Again, I have to admit, going into this season, I didn’t think Arsenal was nearly this good. They just look dominant, and they’ve got to be so confident going into the Liverpool match.

what a great great performance by the team. 2nd half was pure fantasy football..sometimes i wonder why anyone would support other teams for purely footballing reasons.

That was a scrimmage…what a mess Slavia Prague are..there is no doubt that Sevilla and Arsenal will be moving on in this group.

Not one Frenchman scored? Is this the symbolizing of the end of an era?

WOW! I’m on cloud 9 (or should I say 7) at the moment. Even people who don’t like football could watch that and be entertained and enjoy it. The football is so fluid, it really does make the other team look ridiculously inferior! COme on Arsenal, don’t get complacent!
