Mad Jens Out for Two Weeks

By: Trent | August 23rd, 2007

lehmann_jens_afc_profile_2006.jpgWhich may be cause for relief amongst some Arsenal supporters, given the German’s recent gaffes. But this time, Lehmann will miss the Manchester City match and the Champions League tie against Sparta Prague next week due to a bum Achilles heel.

The good news on the injury front is that Emmanuel Adebayor should be up and at ‘em, while Gilberto’s post-Copa breather will also end.

It looks as if Manuel Almunia will start between the sticks this weekend.

Looking forward to Manu? Think this is the beginning of the end for Jens as Arsenal’s No. 1?

Does this mean I’ll have to change my fantasy football line-up AGAIN?

Probably, Massaet. I just hope you didn’t pick as many injured players as I seem to have. Yeesh.
