UNBELIEVABLE PERFORMANCE!!! I love all these players to death but for me, watching Hleb this season goes beyond words. He’s absolutely extraordinary. I saw some of this even last season when he struggled so much. An article in the Times a couple of months ago focused on Hleb’s amazing footballing skills as well as his mind (the article was called “the courage to fail”) — he is Fabregas’ choice for best Arsenal player. He is a very unique player and deserves far more recognition.

I’m going to vote Hleb’s second the goal of the match – that lovely touch followed by a perfectly directed kick that split through the reeling defenders: absolutely brilliant.
