Full Time: Blackburn 1-1 Arsenal
By: Trent | August 19th, 2007Is this season going to be a string of Lehmann cockup videos? Because we’re two-for-two so far.
As noted in comments to the last post, this is not a good result.

I hate Alan Wiley.
Wenger is a whinging t**t.
Good result for Rovers and a fully deserved point all round.
Yes, Lehmann is shite!

eh, a point at Blackburn is decent result. They really over ran you in the second half though, I thought Flamini had a bad game. And Denilson was ambiguous when he came on, I forgot he was even on the field.

Fuck off Dan Clough you prick. Wenger is a genius. What the fuck have you ever accomplished in your Shitty little life? This man has won 4 FA cups, 3 Premierships, Made it to the final of the Uefa cup and the Champions League, Uncovered talents such as Patrick Vieira, Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas, Kolo Toure and many many more. He’s also set a new record for games undefeated, masterminded Arsenals move to one of Europes premier football stadia and done all of this on little more than a mid-table Transfer budget. So unless you have accomplished anything at all close to this then I advise you to shut your bitch ass mouth.

Well last season we entertained everyone with comedian strikers. This season we now entertain everyone with a comedian keeper. It’s the Arsenal way.
Dan, Wenger is absolutely correct. Blackburn and Hughes take enormous pride and pleasure in brutalizing players. They’re thugs. Arsenal responded to their brutality.
Blackburn do not play football. You can’t even say they play crap football because they don’t play football at all. The fact that they can be proud of creating a game with 8 yellow cards and 1 red says it all. It is entirely their fault that there were so many stops to the game, so many cards. The fact that lowlife scum like Robbie Savage can have an idiotic zombie grin on his face while being interviewed by skysports and say with such pleasure and great pride that “we kicked them all over the park” says it all–Blackburn players and their lowlife manager are thugs. Their idea of football is thuggery. They play crap football for 2 minutes, that’s it. This is a thug team of glorified mediocrity who go out on the pitch not to play football but to plant their studs firmly on players’ heads (the way Pedersen did with Cesc), draw blood with their elbows, and the like. That’s all they’re about. They’re a crap team who couldn’t even score except with the helpful idiocy of our keeper.
There was no game played at Ewood park — just a lot of running around interrupted by yellow cards and a red, and players deliberately brutalizing each other.

a) I object to being called a prick.
b) I never questioned Wenger’s managerial talent, merely stated that he moans a lot. This is a fact!
c) Yes, Rovers play a physical game, we have to because we don’t have the calibre of players that teams like Arsenal do, I’ll happily admit that. But we can also play good football.
d) I think many of the games stoppages were caused by the falling over of Arsenal players.
e) You think you would have scored your goal if it wasn’t for a ridiculous goalkeeper error? – It wasn’t just our goal!
f) Van Persie could probably be have sent off for a bad foul just before he scored!

to carry on for you Dan
g) Flamini should also have been sent off for his 4th bookable offence when he fouled Bentley in the second half.
h) Neither Van Persie or Eduardo attempted to win a single header against Samba or Nelsen instead they just deliberately jumped into them knowing that they couldn’t compete fairly. But wait this is Arsenal we’re talking about they play beautiful football so lets not mention that.
i) Fabregas could easily have been sent-off too for deliberate handball had Wiley not given a foul against Derbyshire for the blatant “trying to head the ball”.

Mr Gooner, isn’t there an MLS game you could be watching?
Huh? What do you mean it’s not very entertaining? Oh. Teams like Blackburn make the Premier League for me. I think I’m insulting them a little when I call them underdogs, but against the top brass, they really are. I applaud a team that digs their heels in; plays with grit and determination; and plays with passion that Wenger’s French F.C can only dream of.
