Half Time: Arsenal 3-0 Slavia Prague

By: Trent | October 23rd, 2007

champions-league.jpgWell. Things are not going well for the visitors in this Champions League tilt. Cesc Fabregas slotted home a Hleb cross just 5 minutes in. Ever the gentleman, the Spaniard repaid the favor by assisting on Hleb goal, which made it 2-0.

To top things off, Theo Walcott netted a 30-yard strike into an empty net as the ‘keeper was unable to corral a back pass.

Looking all but sewn up at this point.

UPDATE: We’re up to 5-0 now, and Hleb is a madman; he’s all over the place today with a hand in seemingly every goal (and two for himself to boot).

UPDATE2: As I was typing the above update, Arsenal scored again to make it 6-0. This time Fabregas did the honours. That’s a brace each for Cesc, Hleb and Walcott. Stunning work.
