Dream Update

By: Trent | August 25th, 2007

dream.jpgIn an attempt to get the silly errors from the last post to scoot down the page, I thought I’d share from an actual dream I had last night. No, not the one with the frisbees and pickles.

Instead I dreamt that I was flaying football and was in fact charged with marking Gilberto. Seriously. Without going into great detail, let’s just say that if Man City defend him with the same skill and verve…I’m changing my prediction below.

Arsenal 3-1 Man City, with goals from RvP, Eduardo and Gilberto.

Enjoy your Saturday!

I take Dudu out of my fantasy lineup and you’re predicting a goal from him? Bollocks.

Also, I had a dream Fox Soccer Channel just referred to Manuel Almunia as a “great, young keeper”. Oh, wait, they did….

Very impressed with everything but Robin’s pk. The Citizens played hard, but as usual with Gunner’s opponents, they were quick to get behind the ball and seemed to have trouble in the final third. I wonder if Gallas, EE, or Senderos would have allowed those few chances for City had they been an option for the match. Peter Schmeichel couldn’t have stopped Frankie’s shot, much less Kaspar. The gaffer should offer a bottle of Bordeaux to anyone who scores in the first half!! Enough with the drama.
