These are the breaks
By: travis | November 7th, 2008It’s Friday and tomorrow’s match against Manchester is tomorrow. I mentioned a few things to look for in my previous post, and a few more things have come up today. The first is the shocking news of Wenger exit, something he denies. I know that people are rumbling and grumbling that his philosophy and stubbornness is starting to cost Arsenal, but isn’t it a bit too soon to really dive into that? If the next transfer windows comes and goes with no additions to the squad, then perhaps it is time to talk about the boss moving on. He still has the benefit of the doubt, but only for a bit longer.
On to tomorrow’s match. Official preview here, which outlines the injured or the potential injured: Manuel Almunia (sickness) Bacary Sagna (ankle), Theo Walcott (shoulder), Mikael Silvestre (broken nose) and William Gallas (hamstring) all fall in the category of maybe. Emmanuel Adebayor (ankle), Emmanuel Eboue (knee), Robin van Persie (suspended), Tomas Rosicky (hamstring) and Eduardo (broken leg) are definitely out.
It’s hard to know what sort of side will be sent out tomorrow. What’s certain is the implications of tomorrow. Coming off of three negative results, Man United is not the team you want to see, even at home. I hope that the fans are out in force, and will provide the needed support for Gunners victory. Here’s to three points.

break it up. break it up. break down.(sorry couldn’t resist). anyway, excellent result for us. excellent result for Sammy(this should keep him confident for a while). Let’s repeat this vs. Villa and Chelsea!!

hahaa I dont think Sammy should need more confidence! In the french national team (which i support) samir & benzema are the most confident people in the team and they have buzz and hype around. Toulalan in the team who is older and more experienced, is the opposite of them; he is as shy as a pig. nasri acts really like a diva in france (dont worry im a nasri fan) and sometimes i think his head has grown too big. But he has reason for it since he is great
