Well.

I really thought we could take this.
I shrieked aloud when Sagna scored. Twice. The high-pitched, embarrassing sort of shriek. No one deserved it more after such a solid season, and I was happy. I thought this would be our day. We were looking solid, everyone was on form, and I was daring to hope between my nervousness.
I should never let myself get hopeful.
Bacary went off injured. We lost our shape. Drogba scored one goal. Then two. And everything that I’d been worried about all season- whether Kolo and Gallas could work together, whether Almunia was a good enough goalkeeper for a championship-winning team, how we would deal with pressure- came collapsing down.
And it hurts a lot. I’m still smarting today. I can’t read my normal blogs and newsrounds for the way it makes me wince. I’ll bring myself to talk more about the game later.
I’m sure all Arsenal fans are feeling much the same today.

Don’t you have anything better to do? Although I suppose being in 11th place, you really don’t…

Too bad Drogba was offside for their first goal. Still I can’t really complain, they were the better team that day unfortunately.
