Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea Highlights

In case you missed it I dug up the highlights.

Enjoy. Or ignore them. Sad day to lose another chance at a trophy. It was a bad performance that resulted in a deserved loss. Can’t really add more to what Martin already said.

Well, what can you say about that game? We played very poorly, we didn’t deserve to win, and so we didn’t.

Arsenal v Chelsea Semi Final Game Thread

By: travis | Comments No Comments

It’s a big game today in a competition that is by far this side’s best chance at a trophy. Kickoff is less than fifteen minutes away, and here is a look at the starting lineups:
Arsenal: Fabianski, Eboue, Toure, Silvestre, Gibbs, Walcott, Fabregas, Diaby, Denilson, Van Persie, Adebayor.
Subs: Mannone, Nasri, Vela, Ramsey, Song Billong, Arshavin, [...]

Emirates Turns into a Field Hospital

By: Martin | Comments 2 Comments

It’s as bad, if not worse, than originally thought. Here’s the most up-to-date injury news:
Gallas–out for season (knee)
Almunia–out 3 weeks (ankle)
Clichy–out 2 weeks (back)
van Persie–possibly fit for Saturday (groin)
Eduardo–possibly fit for Saturday (groin)
Rosicky–”not close to coming back” (hamstring)
That is ummm….not good. In case you needed reminding, Saturday marks the beginning of a brutal stretch of [...]

Arsenal 2-1 Hull City highlights

The goals from last night’s game. A nervous match, a hint of offsides on Gallas, I don’t care all that much. On to the semifinals.

FA Cup sixth round

By: travis | Comments 8 Comments

Kickoff is real soon and I’ve been too busy to write up a proper review, so time for a few quick hits. First things first: this competition is the only legitimate chance Arsenal has for silverware this season. You can’t really argue with that — while they are alive and kicking in the Champions League [...]

A few words on the Burnley game

By: travis | Comments 1 Comment

It’s late and I haven’t been able to come up with sufficient words to describe Saturday’s game. No, it’s not that I’m blown away and bedazzled by the Arsenal performance we all expect, it’s that I hope to see more of this on a consistent basis. I realize that I might be coming off a [...]

Missed the FA Cup?

I just noticed that there is a lengthy highlight reel here. I would put it up here but can’t seem to locate an embed code. Check it out for some good viewing. I could watch those goals again and again.
Update: Found the embed code. Tune in below.

Weekend Update

By: travis | Comments No Comments

It’s been a brilliant Saturday for me. Watched Manchester United thump Fulham, wishing that Arsenal could show some consistent form like Man U does. That being said, with Burnley coming to Ashburton Grove tomorrow Arsenal will get their chance. Revenge is on the cards as Burnley knocked the youngsters out of the Carling Cup back [...]

That’s More Like It

By: travis | Comments 5 Comments

Finally, some good news. A classy 4-0 win against an opponent that looked over matched, and a great comeback to celebrate. Even if you were to ignore the Eduardo bit it’s still a great result. But toss that in and it feels good to be a Gunners fan right now. Just wait til Saturday — [...]
