A-Dub: Savage Forgiveness
By: Trent | January 16th, 2007Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger gives a little praise to Blackburn thespian Robbie Savage after the latter succeeded in having Gilberto Silva shown the red card during last weekend’s 2-0 Gunners’ victory. You can relive the horror here.
Anyway, seems that Savage had second thoughts and tried to get the ref to withhold the Valentine card. It didn’t work of course, but Wenger says he appreciates the effort.
Of course, it’s Gilberto’s attendant three-match ban that sux the most.
