Apparently an MLS team–the Colorado Rapids–may be changing its name to Colorado Arsenal.

Pretty weak.

I just hope no one confuses them with the Arsenal squad…

in the Ukraine…

or in Argentina…

or in Ghana…

or in Honduras…

or in Russia…

or in Mauritius.

Or, hell, even Arsenal LFC.

  Instead of having stars on a shirt because of a European Championship, they should stich one on for every name rip-off in another country.

  Sorry ladies and gents! The NEW Rapids colours aldegedly are to celebrate Arsenal’s rehash of old timer unis at their old stomping grounds but I heard in local talk radio here in L.A. that the Latin communtiy claims that the new Colorado colours remind them of Argentina’s Arsenal. Oh well!
