Andy Johnson Has Had Enough of Your Draws
By: Trent | March 19th, 2007Hmm. Well, this late season push isn’t starting well. Arsenal visited Goodison Park on the weekend, and came away with no points. What seemed a draw with Everton heading into stoppage time was altered by former Crystal Palace striker Andy Johnson who scored for the 1-0 win.
Arsenal are still in place to head to Europe next season, but it may yet be a fight for that final Champions League spot.

It was a good game and Everton played very well. Johnson deserves his place on the England squad tho I doubt McLaren can use him to his greatest advantage. Unfortunately I think that victory against Villa was a lucky one. Wenger’s forced to reply on crap strikers to the end of the season. Add that to exhaustion, lack of confidence and injuries, and I don’t think many games can be won by season’s end. Strong teams like Everton will just be too much of a challenge. What a depressing year. And I honestly don’t think Arsenal can mount a credible challenge next season for the league title.
