Arsenal Rocked by Bedroom Dispute

Sorry, boardroom dispute. Either way, Arsenal vice-chariman David Dein and the rest of the Board are splitsville. Early word is that Dein had a big falling out with the Board. The gossip wags reported that the Board recently filmed a movie opposite Angelina Jolie, so this shouldn’t come as too much of a shock.
In the wake of the departure, the Board has assured supporters that it has no intention of selling the club in the near future.
To bolster that public stance, chairman Peter Hill-Wood says that he is “horrified” by the thought of an American taking over the North London club. PHW says that he and the majority owners are so frackin’ rich that selling their shares does not interest them.
“They are independently wealthy and do not need the money. Having a few extra million pounds in the bank is of no interest to them. We’re here for Arsenal Football Club, not to make a few bob. We would be horrified to see it go across the Atlantic.”
See? No worries. They’re all too rich to do anything untoward. Um…..
Anyway, I see no reason to drag Bob into this.
