yes bopple you should be worrying. diaby cant stay healthy for more than a fortnight and if cesc goes down your season is OVER. also, if you think eboue is gonna play like he did against newcastle every game you got another thing coming. still, there is nothing that can be done until january and its not the players' fault that arsene didnt sign anyone. So, im gonna give everyone the benefit of the doubt and get behind them, but if things go awry none of us can say it was unexpected

I'll acknowledge my pessimism. I'm not asking for a massive signing. Just highlighting the points about how depleted our young squad is. Do I want Arsenal to win? Of course. But I think it's fair to be worried to ask a bunch of teenagers and 20 year olds to win in places like Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford - places we'll need to win to succeed. I really hope they prove me wrong. I'm just calling it like I see it.

I think you are the most pessimistic blogger i have ever come across!!! I have read man utd and chelsea bloggers with more praise and optimism for arsenal than you!!! Are you even an arsenal fan?!?!? so what if we didn't bring in a C/M. Arsene wenger proved against newcastle that he can compete with the spending of chesea, man utd(man city??) with just simply world class football. We play the best football in europe, probably the world, and slowly wenger is turning that football into winning football. So what if we haven't got robinho or berbatov, the sign of a great manager is the ability to turn players with potential into world beaters and no manager in the world does that better than wenger. When was the last time that wenger wasted £30 million on a veron?? or £20 million on a mutu or kezman?? Never!! Wenger knows the transfer market like the back of his hand and if he say's arsenal doesn't need to sign anyone than that's more than enough for me and should be for every single arsenal fan. With players returning from injury like eduardo, rosicky, diaby etc. Should we even be worrying??

the squad looks fine tuned, compact and has very flexible midfield structures. the real music begins with rosicky and eduardo's return, so we're early days. only another freak streak of injuries can stop us now.

eboue has what many teams would like to incorporate - 'primitive creativity'. it can be penetrative against stubborn robotism in defences. leave his character to himself n maybe his boss. but have trust in the art.

I think we are up for it. Eboue hasn't looked all that bad. Chelsea is the only team that can possibly pose a threat as i dont see Liverpool or Man United doing much althogh with Berbatov Man U will definately push for the title. By January I think we will see if we are capable of winning or we need more players
