Arsenal vs. Manchester United Game Thread

Just under an hour away from kickoff and it’s going to be a heck of a match (hopefully). Can Wenger back up his own words? Will there be a rematch with Barcelona in the CL Final? Or is it going to be curtains for the Gunners, making it four years without a trophy? Plenty of questions to be asked, and they’ll be answered on the pitch at Ashburton Grove. Here’s a look at both lineups:

Arsenal: Almunia, Sagna, Fabregas, Toure, Nasri, Van Persie, Walcott, Song, Djourou, Adebayor, Gibbs.

Man Utd: Van der Sar, Evra, Ferdinand, Ronaldo, Anderson, Rooney, Park, Vidic, Carrick, O’Shea, Fletcher

  agree with evaldo. Adebayor is a goner IMO. Bring in David Villa please. We need a real striker. Its essential we keep RVP and Cesc. Would be nice to pick up someone like Lucho Gonzalez from Porto and We have been linked to Sakho as a prospect. Would all be good adds. Damn Flamini for leaving us… Would have been huge tonight

  Yes, but what a bad decision from Flamini, what is he playing now..?
  This is the eternal story…Vieira left because he wanted European titles, with whom, Juve in 2nd division? or Inter being eliminated?
  I think the players should take their responsabilities…Titi seemed tired in the final vs Barza, and is he tired now vs Chelsea or Real in La Liga??
  I mean, come on, what is the problem? Arsenal is not paying enough??? It is their reputation that goes down the road!!!
  This being said, I did not see it…so I don’t know who played well or not, but I say: all players stay, grow as a team, be audacious like Wenger said, and I heard Adebayor said that Wenger told them to be free out there, or is it that Wenger is not that good of a talent seeker?? I think he is, from what we see, it is just a lack of “ganas”…
  I am sorry but I am mad as hell, my heart is broken and I think the answer is sticking to the team, meaning the players should remain and show their talent!!!!!

  Vieira never played for Juve in the 2nd division…but he barely plays for Inter at all

  yep, Vieira never played for Juve in 2nd, he played first and then escaped when the team needed him; what I meant is that his decision was so wrong that the team he chose ended up further away from Europe than an “Arsenal lacking of European ambitions”
