Bendtner’s Inability to Finish Apparently Not Limited to the Pitch

“The Denmark international striker, 21, was pictured leaving a London nightclub at 4 a.m. this morning with his belt undone and jeans pulled down before being helped into a waiting car.”

Yeah…I don’t know, either. Hey–I understand he and the rest of the team must have been frustrated about the game, and probably wanted to go blow off some steam. And they presumably have today off, so he’s got the day to nurse a hangover. It doesn’t bother me that he was out drinking until 4. But why are his pants down? There are only a couple explanations for the picture above, and each is pretty unseemly and embarrassing.

Bendtner issued an official apology via the official website, saying he made “a poor error of judgment.” As I said, I don’t really care much one way or the other. But after the misery of watching us as a team get caught with our pants down yesterday, I figured maybe the levity of watching Bendtner get caught with pants down might cheer us up just a bit today.

Who hasn't stumbled out of nightclub with his pants falling down? Prudes, maybe. Most of us just don't have cameras following us. Fair play, Nick. No apology necessary. We've all been there (and will be again).
