Big Sam: Arsenal Are Time Wasters

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce thinks it’s a bit rich for the Gunners to complain about Wigan’s time-wasting efforts this past weekend in Arsenal’s come from behind 2-1 win. After all, Mad Jens got a booking for the same efforts near the end of the match.
Every team has players that waste time. Every one. And obvious attempts should be carded. Now that’s settled.
But that still won’t satisfy Wigan boss Paul Jewell, whose tirade against referee Phil Dowd in the wake of the loss at the Emirates Stadium has earned Jewell a charge of improper conduct from the FA.

Interesting how meanspirited Allardyce is. Wenger was one of the few managers to speak in his defense when all those bung accusations came out about him.
