I can’t stand Ronaldo either, but I have to admire his game. And of course he’d look better in an Arsenal shirt. You have an interesting point about his play against better competition. But wouldn’t you take his ability to fire a late winner against a team like Birmingham? That’s the let-down that comes to mind recently, for this Arsenal fan anyway.

Really? You want Ronaldo on Arsenal?

I mean, honestly, if Ronaldo was on the team then I would probably praise him just as much as Manchester United supporters. The guy can score against lower league opposition for sure (just look at his goal record), but against higher level opposition he is anonymous. Zero goals against Liverpool and Chelsea in his time at Man U, plus performances like last year’s Champions League games against AC MIlan show that Ronaldo just can’t cope at the very highest level. Is he a joke…no. But he is overrated, and I am fully confident of Clichy’s ability to cover him.

He also is a diving cheater who I really can’t stand.
