Carling Cup: Aliadiere Brace Busts Baggies
By: Trent | October 24th, 2006
Arsenal have defeated hosts West Brom 2-0 in a Carling Cup match. First-time starter Jeremie Aliadiere provided the heroics for a very young Arsenal B-Side, scoring in each half.
The young Frenchman showed some promise by taking clear advantage of the opportunity afforded by Arsene Wenger’s decision to rest nearly all of his starters for the match. This despite A-Dub’s claim that he really, really wants to win the tournament, the only domestic cup he’s yet to hoist.
And this being 2006, of course Aliadiere’s fiancĂ©e has her own (nsfw) web site.
