I understand the pessimism, but doesnt it seem like Arsenal, when they give it a solid go and are mentally prepared, are one of the best teams out there. I know this is rather cliche nowadays, but when Arsene Cesc and Co. can start rallying the troops before every match, not just your Chelseas and Man Utds, there is no reason we can’t at least contend. As lucky as we got on that first goal, you don’t beat Chelsea or Man U without considerable skill, and with a new young leader like Cesc who can really lead by example and by word I have a feeling that the games like Villa and Man City are pretty much gone.

Sagna and Gallas were immense but we were still a bit lucky. Great result but additions need to be made in January…

what a great win, like you i am unfortunatly pessimistic by nature, was expecting a draw at best, which in a way makes this win so much sweeter. i was surprised too the little fight Chelsea put up, considering that they were able to over run our midfield most of the first half, but they never seemed like scoring.
