HAHA! Well, he won't have this chance when Clichy comes back. An important player? How can he be such player if Clichy will be there to block him. As we know it, Wenger won't take any chances to play an inexperienced player in Clichy's spot since he has been criticized for his work's ethics.

He has been so much influenced by the fans, that he is considering to buy new, but experienced player during the summer. Even thought I believe it's because he has seen the result with Arshevin and is willing to give another go. He said that it wouldn't be a new striker. I hope it's a defensive midfielder to partner Fabregas.

So, He won't take the chance to start an nineteen years old player again. Or else, his credibility will take another major blow. He REALLY needs to win something new season, or then, you'll hear about the fan singing for Chelsea. So, Gibbs, even thought he had potential, wasn't meant to play Clichy's vacant post. It was Eboue who should have played that spot.

Then, Gibbs is 19 years old. Clichy is 22, if I'm not mistaking. Their age difference is very little. Gibbs won't have a lot of opportunity, if we consider Armand Traore. Then, if Wenger decides to put him on the left side of midfield, there'll be a major problem: Nasri, Arshevin, Walcott (sometime..) and many other are already playing this post. I say: let's loan him. If he's exceptional then, let take him back and put him in the right side. If not, let's sell him for an decent amount of money pretending that he'll be the next Ashley Cole!

I would respectfully disagree re: Gibbs.

The young man put an several impressive performance against Villareal, and was massive in the first leg against Ronaldo, and didn't let him do anything on the wing. The fact that he slipped does not mean he's not a good player--stuff like that could happen to anyone, and I hope the Emirates faithful give him a warm reception today because I think he is going to be an important member of Arsenal teams for years to come and it would do his confidence a world of good.

If Gibbs really played, then We're doomed! He'll slip again when he'll face Drogba. That boy was bought by Ferguson to do such a stupid mistake. They say he had nightmare about it; he should because his chances to play in the left spot has been largely questioned. I hope that Clichy comes back, then we can claim back Armand Traore and finally use Gibbs elsewhere.

I'm thinking why not give some of the other guys a shot from here on out. I'd like to see more of Eduardo, Vela, Ramsey, Diaby, Fabianski, etc. Wouldn't hurt to give them a few more looks at EPL matches.
