Dear M. Frank Ribery:
Are you French? Are you a blossoming football star? Looking to leave France and land at a big club? Look no further–North London should be your next stop!
Um, no, I didn’t mean Spurs. Why’d you ask?
Anyway, rumours are back linking you with a move to the Emirates Stadium in the summer. Now you’re hinting that you could move from Marseille to Arsenal or Real Madrid come next season. Sure, Zizou and others have made Madrid their home with great success, but do you really want to end up headbutting overzealous Italians, a fate which would surely be yours?
Besides, why would you want to spend the next several years battling Ronaldinho on some Spainsh pitch, when you could play alongside Cesc Fabregas and play against Fwank Lampard (the world’s second-greatest player just a year ago–snicker, snicker)?
So, see you next summer in London, Frankie.

Although if he insists on going somewhere, I’d prefer that he go to England rather than Italy or Spain… The most recent rumors I’ve seen have him staying at Marseille through the end of the season, though. Now that he and Cisse are both better, I’d like to see what they can do together.

Ribéry and Cissé were EN FUEGO today against Cambrai in the Coupe de France. They play great together, but yes Ribéry will no doubt leave at the end of the season. I just pray it ain’t Madrid.
