FA Cup Cardiff
By: travis | February 16th, 2009It’s Cardiff today and a win would be nice. This competition is the only one that Arsenal still has a chance to win silverware in, so I would expect a strong side. We haven’t managed a goal in the last two matches, and only one in the past four. So a goal would be a nice, and it’ll be a chance for Bendtner to shine, that is for sure.

We arsenal fans are so happy to see Eduardo back with 2 fine goals, and we are even happier to see the true arsenal back playing a style of football that pleases the eye. anyway I would like to comment on what you said that the FA cup is our only chance of collecting silverware. I totally disagree with you, it is true that we are out the premier league race, but we are still in the champions league and if we played with the same style and confidence we have a really good shot in winning both the champions league and the FA cup.
Thanks, GOONER FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!

and judging from arsenal’s epl form u really think they can win the champions league? eduardo is going to help but he isn’t going to help that much. remember arshavin is cup tied. getting theo back will help too but i think champions league glory for this side is a little far fetched.

evaldo I have to agree with you. I’m just hoping we won’t lose the fourth spot, but it’s hard to be objective after the flashes of brilliance from this very young squad minus their 2 big stars. If we produce goals like that even though it was Cardiff, the back four dilemma won’t be much of a concern.
