Flamini to Juventus & Cesc TV
By: travis | April 22nd, 2008A number of sources are reporting that midfielder Mathieu Flamini is a serious target of Serie A club Juventus. He’s played well this season, although I think Gilberto Silva should have been given a bit more time. Rotating players a bit more may have kept other midfielders more fresh this season.
Gilberto has expressed his desire to stay, but will have a chat with the boss about it. To be honest, it would be surprising to see Gilberto stay, but if he’s even considering stay I’d be delighted. The few chances he did get his performance was a bit spotty, but he’s still a good footballer.
Arsene gushes about Walcott now being a man on the pitch. But not a monster. Wenger said that “this was his most complete game”. I’m glad that my posting about starting Walcott has reached the boss’s ears, I’m glad he listened to me.
