Four reasons why Arsenal won’t miss Adebayor

By: travis | July 16th, 2009

Seems that things may have hit a snag in the Adebayor-to-City proceedings, so I’m here to change the subject. Look no further than these highlights when wondering if Arsenal would miss Adebayor.

I think this brings the Arshavin video count up to six or seven for the summer, but here’s a look at Andrey Arshavin’s four-goal haul against Liverpool. Not the best video, but that’s not the point…

Arshavin is nasty–we got so badly outplayed in that game, he single-handedly got us a point there. I can’t wait to see him for a full season, fully fit and settled in…

Arshavin is a natural leader. Fabregas gives tempo.

Van Persie gives nothing. His dribbling won’t do. The guy was crying out loud for money last season… how ca he have Arsenal’s passion in his blood. The fact is he is not a leader, cannot give a new tempo and if Arsenal rely on him to win, then forget everything title next season even if they get a new DM.

the defense gave the game away, you are right Evaldo, I vote for money to go into a defensive midfielder, Martin I agree: seeing Arshavin for a full season and in Europe games should be pure adrenaline!

To the tune 2 by 2:
The words he said proved he was a red Andrey, Andrey,
I’m glad to be a gooner he said Andrey, Andrey,
We brought the guy from russia way it took 285 days
and it’s Andrey Arshavin, Arsenal’s wonder boy,
He came ready to play to liverpool Andrey, Andrey
and made Reina look an total fool Andrey, Andrey
First one, then two, then three, then four
was how many times Arshavin would score
and it’s Andrey Arshavin, Arsenal’s wonder boy.
