A ten-man Gunner squad took all three points from Blackburn today courtesy of goals from Toure and Henry.

Gilberto Silva was sent off in the 13th-minute, courtesy of a ridiculous Robbie Savage dive. Surprise.

  this stupid referee hates arsenal i think if you see the action another time you will discover that gilberto silva received a kick and touched slightly savage arsenal must lodge a complaint against this referee he exagerrated a little

  It’s Rob Stiles - Stiles is known for having the red card clutched to his fingers throughout the game so he can take it out quickly. Gilberto’s response was automatic, he forgot who the ref was. Players in the Prem know that when you got Stiles as ref, it’s very likely someone will be red carded. The man’s infamous. Wenger rightly chose not to appeal because the FA would likely slap another ban on Gilberto just for appealing. And Wenger can’t afford to have him be absent for anymore matches. It was an entirely stupid response by Stiles even if it did hold up to the letter of the rules.
