By: Trent | May 13th, 2007Yawn. Well, Arsenal end the season in fourth place after drawing at Fratton Park. The Gunners and Liverpool each ended with 58 points, but Liverpool grabs third place with a goal differential advantage of 30 vs. 28.
Of course, had Julio Baptista’s 39th minute penalty not been saved….
Hmm. Well, plenty more to discuss regarding the season just ended, and Arsene Wenger should know soon what sort of budget he’ll be on for the summer.
At least there will be Champions League football at the Emirates Stadium next season. And congrats to the Young Gunners for holding it together just enough after all of the injuries that hit this year.
