Full Time: Watford 1-2 Arsenal

The Gunners have taken all three points thanks to a second-half winner from van Persie. As Liverpool lost earlier, Arsenal are now back in third place.

Lots of chances for Adebayor, who has looked pretty good since Henry was sidelined. Lehmann had a few flighty moments, but fine overall. The first Arsenal goal was from the always-solid Gilberto.

  I’m so proud of them, they’re gaining lots of experience by hanging in there. This rally by van Persie I think helped boost their confidence. Trent, what are your thoughts on goalkeepers for Arsenal? This concerns me b/c Lehmann is really good but Arsenal need another great keeper just in case contract talks do not pan out. Roman Weidenfeller and Timo Hildebrand have both been linked w/Arsenal, any new scoop?
