Injury Updates
By: travis | December 8th, 2008There’s good news and bad news coming from the injury front. Our two longest injury table residents, Eduardo and Tomas Rosicky both have a better idea as to when they will return to action. The good news is that Eduardo has been given a fixture when he will make a return: it’ll be December 16th against Portsmouth – that’ll be worth keeping an eye on. A potentially healthy Eduardo could be vital boost to any sort of title challenge that this squad plans on making. A pat on the back for him for working hard and hopefully resurrecting his career.
On the flip side, Rosicky the walking injury will not be back until March. How this is possible and what this midfielder has been ailed with is beyond me. Then again, I claim no expertise in medicine or knowledge of football injuries. The fact that a player who has had his leg broken in two is going to return before someone who stretched a ligament out of shape baffles me. I know, ligament injuries can be worse. But did you see Eduardo’s injury. Ouch.

I wanted Arsenal to win the group as well. Too bad Silvestre had other ideas. Where the hell was he on that second goal?
