J’Accuse!: Inspector Wenger Compiles His Case

By: Trent | March 8th, 2007

magnifying-glass.jpgLike all protectors of the public good, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is taking his time, collecting and analysing the evidence of a most grievous crime against football. To that end, A-Dub is compiling a videotape that he says will demonstrate to the FA that his young Gunners have been treated unfairly by the refs this season.

The good detective’s postulation is buoyed by stats like these, compiled by Goodplaya. Follow the link to see the unusual yellow card to foul ratio for the Gunners.

I hope that the completed tape will eventually be made availble to the public. Mostly because I want to set the video to a Dizzy Rascal song and post it on YouTube.

If he succeeds, we at Liverpool would like to hire his services to bring suit against the refs for being unfair to Craig Bellamy.

Sometime I feel like I am watching a video of Wenger complaining that is on repeat loop.

Wenger’s not the first or only manager to condemn the FA for its miserable incompetence and inconsistencies. Drogba and Essien punch Denilson and Fabregas yet get no punishment. The guys at the FA watch SkySports all day long and whatever SkySports shows on their video is what matters. So since Drogba and Essien’s violence weren’t shown, they get off scot free. I’m sick of referees being held unaccountable for their bizarre inconsistencies–it’s not only about Arsenal, this goes on all the time in the Prem. Wenger’s got a case, the FA sucks.
