Liverpool 4-4 Arsenal
By: travis | April 21st, 2009A draw at Anfield is not a bad result. What is bad is choking on three separate leads. That’s what happens when your second choice goalkeeper and central defender must start.
That aside, thank you Arsene, for finally buying a player. A player who scores four. Nuts. A look at the goals:

This only makes me cry about the fact that he didn’t start the FA Cup semifinal.

that was a bogus equaliser, 6 minutes of extra time in the second half??? wtf did all those supposed stoppages/injuries/riots occur that stopped the game for 6 minutes? did anyone else notice that the game didnt end until arsenal had recovered possession and liverpool’s assault on the arsenal goal had stopped? Conspiracy theorists unite!!

I’m all for a good conspiracy theory, but the Liverpool goal was at about 93:06. Not sure I can blame the added time for it. Now if you want to talk about the non-call in the Champions League last year when Kuyt tackled Hleb in the box, then we can talk.

Thank you Arshavin, thank you. I dont care anymore that you’re a sexist pig, all is forgiven.

You can’t complain about stoppage time – leaving two Liverpool midfielders unmarked in the box? That’s fair to whinge on.

defense was horrible, in the first half other than the goal we scored we didn’t do anything, but good thing Arshavin came and scored 4, I thought we should’ve won the game but the defense didn’t d othe job, especially silvestre
