Now three points back…

By: travis | March 19th, 2008

null Greetings Offsiders! Travis here, making up the other half of the brand new Arsenal blogging team. The man on the left, Cesc Fabregas is one of the many reasons why I started rooting for this team. You may know me from the Kansas City Wizards blog, but I’m going to be chiming in over here on Arsenal as well with my critical views and expert whims.

As expected, United cruised to an easy win over Bolton, increasing their league lead from goal differential to three points.

This weekend could be the deciding factor for the league. If United defeat Liverpool and we lose to Chelsea, that’s a six point margin. Much more difficult to make that up. All is not lost, but after four consecutive draws, a lot must be done or the successful start will end up for naught. Yes, the Champions League is still within reach as well, but it’s put up or shut up this weekend. More to come.

I was really surprised to see Arsenal come away with draws those past two games. I really hope that they can win the Premiership this year…
