agree again, gallas saved a lot last season (i remember that gaol at the 80 min vs ManU).
I read that about Cesc and Van P at as.com and a site from Daily Star (or somehting like that)

I agree with the sentiments of Gallas not being as bad as the media/a lot of people make him out to be. He has gaffes that usually lead to goals, however, most of the time off a set piece. Which is poor – because he should hold his mark.

Gallas is very important and misunderstood player, especially by the media, who gave wenger no choice but to replace him. How many games has he saved for arsenal, bailing the offense out with a 80 min goal from a corner? He was also not the reason why arsenal fell apart last season. He will be missed over the next 3 weeks. Though if he has to get injured at some point this term, its come at the right time, we have bolton, hull, everton, cardiff, and west ham this month. Also, hopefully this war of words between ferguson and benitez will shy attention from our team so they can focus on winning games.

Personally I think Barca see Cesc as their long term replacement for Xavi. So I do agree with Martin that Cesc is safe here for now, given that Xavi is playing some of the best football of his life right now.

I think eventually though, in a couple years when Xavi starts to lose the fantastic form he is currently in, Barca will come knocking, and it will be hard for Cesc to resist. I’m not looking forward to that day.

Silvestre sucks anyway, but Gallas hurts us–hopefully Toure can stay healthy so we won’t have to call Gibbs into action. Bolton’s lost 4 of 5, is missing a couple of key players through suspension, and don’t have much offensive skill anyway, so hopefully we’ll manage to play most of the game in their half of the field.

Neither Cesc nor van Persie will leave for Barca, if for no other reason than I doubt they’d get much playing time–van Persie would have to compete with Henry, Eto’o, Messi, and Krkic; Cesc would have to compete with Gudjohnsen, Iniesta, Yaya Toure, and especially Xavi. Not sure where you read that, but it wouldn’t make sense for the players or either team involved.

man, what a nightmare with these injuries!
i am happy to see Ade with this second personal award, he deserves it, and hopefully he will contribute to any chance the team has on trophies.
any news on what i read about Barcelona wanting to buy Cesc and Van Persie?
