Quo Vadis?
By: Trent | April 17th, 2007There just may be a massive match later today involving a certain North London club and Manchester City. A win for Arsenal would certainly go a long way in cementing Champions League football for next year.
But for the moment, let’s take a brief look at today’s swirling player news.
Franck Ribery still wants a move to Ashburton Grove, which if true is great news. Arsene and the Board need to get this done if possible.
Mathieu Flamini is still flirting with a move to Italy.
Arsenal may join the Blues and the Reds in the hunt for Sevilla man Daniel Alves.
May A-Dub try to pull the ol’ Gilberto for Newcastle’s Scott Parker switch? Interesting.
And finally, the Belarus FA is demanding that Arsenal pay Dinamo Minsk £200,000 for contributing to the development of current Gunner Alexander Hleb. For their part, Arsenal have actually said that
“[t]here’s no question of us deliberately holding back payment. We have had no communication whatsoever from Dinamo Minsk. If they call us and supply their bank account details the money will be paid, it is as simple as that.”
No jokes, please.
