Reading Aftermath

By: Trent | October 24th, 2006

In the end, I guess there just isn’t that much to say about the Reading match, won by Arsenal 4-0. It did, I suppose cement Arsenal’s place as a title contender for the season, despite the poor start.

It also proved that no team plays such an attractive brand of fluid football, not only in England but maybe Europe. Check here for a stab at player ratings from the match.

Maybe Reading boss Steve Coppell put it best: “They are not in our league, even though we are in the Premiership. Their football is more fluent.”
