Senderos doesn’t lose game for Swiss
By: travis | June 8th, 2008The first of the Gunners were in action in Euro 2008 as Philippe went 90 minutes for Switzerland in their 1-0 loss to the Czech Repulic. It was a dull game, and I fell asleep after 60 minutes of it. From what I watched, Senderos did a decent job of holding the back line together and wasn’t necessarily to blame for the Czech goal. The Swiss were definitely unlucky not to get a draw, as some great play from Petr Cech, not to mention a little help from the crossbar, denied the hosts. Johan Djourou didn’t get any time on the pitch, although he was on the bench.
Today’s games are Arsenal player-less, although Eduardo should have been playing today against Austria. Don’t have to explain why he isn’t, but players in the Croatia side are eager to win it for him. Shouldn’t be too hard to at least grab this opening match against the other host nation, whose side hardly strikes fear in the opposition.

Dudu is gonna make a comeback on July. A little too late for the Euros but defintely on time for the next campaign.
