Poor Alexandre Song. He’s being loaned to Clowntown Pathetic Charlton Athletic for the remainder of the season. The good news is he’s quite likely to get more playing time across town.
In other transfer news…
Arsenal are reported to be closing in on Czech Wunderkind and FC Brno defender Ondrej Mazuch. Of course, the Gunners are also said to be in front of the pack for Saint-Etienne striker Frederic Piquionne, a pack said to include Newcastle and Pompey.
And who knows, Arsenal may eventually find new talent in their new academy being opened in Vietnam, that country’s first ever.
