I wish you had, but no, 2-0 down after 5 minutes, and we look pretty ordinary to say the least

And it gets even crazier, as Diaby and Bendtner of all people combine to get one back. Haha its all gone a bit weird

This is easily the worst performance this season. Liege are just throwing everyone behind the ball, and Arsenal can’t do anything. The only player that has had a half decent game is Rosicky, and he’s been subbed. Can’t even count how many times Fabregas has lost the ball or passed it to noone. Awful stuff, regardless of what the result will end up being.

Well we got a nice break on the 2nd goal, but maybe we deserved a breakthrough after having a lot of possession. I’m not sure if it was offsides, but it was certainly a hand ball by Song.
Anyway, who would have thought we’d be in position to win this thing?
Also, for some reason I’m getting Setanta. I’ve never subscribed to it, but now it’s coming through for me. Any other Americans getting it without subscribing?

eboue over sagna any day for right back
clichy was lucky we had vermaelen,
centre of the mid another prob
diaby n inconsistency go hand in hand, one moment he sucks ass n makes u throw the remote on tv next he slides a wonderful ball for a great assist,i wish he could be more consistent n the team would become more strong
a solid performance by rosiscky add to my misery on waht arsenal have missed all the time he was injured
i hope wenger continues to give daiby n eboue chance n dont arsenal have traore n gibbs can we use them sparingly

Whats everyone complaining about? A win is a win,,, everyone had underestimated Liege. They’re a decent team.

good jib! what I like about this game is we came from behind. usually 2 nil in the first 4 mins kills us. but good thing we fought back. I think Mannone cannot be blamed for either goals. + I think we were lucky with the 2nd goal, its a hand ball and an offside. most importantly we won

Why did Mannone play? Injury to Almunia or selected over Almunia (just…maybe)?

    Alex,
Martin said in his previous post that Almunia was ill or something. Chest infection is what I remember. Not sure when he’ll return.
