Maybe it’s not that seductively sweet, but talk has turned to whether Arsene Wenger may be the next big name to exit Ashburton Grove in the wake of vice-chairman David Dein’s departure.
Chairman Peter Hill-Wood sez:
“We’ve always made funds available to Arsene, he attends the board meetings, he understands the financial position. I can assure supporters that we will continue to provide funds when Arsene requires them. We have a very good squad – young, maybe, but developing well and if Arsene wants to strengthen it we have the money to provide him with any reasonable purchases he wants to make.”
The question is–how instrumental was Dein to A-Dub’s happiness at Arsenal? Can he continue without DD?

The Arsenal board’s arrogance regarding the possibility of a foreign takeover is quite amusing. Arsenal FC — bastions of the British empire. No doubt they’re also members of Lords Cricket Club. You look to be firmly in the shit (evil laugh)
