Thierry Henry Hates Watching Football

By: Trent | March 24th, 2007

th14psd.jpgWha?! How could anyone be so bereft of sanity? How can a man willingly go without watching footy until the grass grows ’round his brain?

I can’t imagine either, but apparently injured Arsenal striker Thierry Henry just can’t bring himself to watch football now that’s been declared out for the remainder of the season. And not only is he done for the Gunners, he also missed out on today’s France victory over Lithuania.

Titi nevertheless assures us that he will soon enough be back to having football a part of his life:

“I have not been watching much football because it is not nice to watch when you are injured. It does not make things any better. But I know quite soon I will have to start watching games again and I am sure that it will eventually help me to get back into things. Being injured is not only frustrating but also boring - very, very boring. I can’t wait to get back on to the training pitch again.”
