Thierry Henry’s “Troublesome Groin”
By: Trent | March 8th, 2007
Well, is there any other kind? The good fortune continues to pile up for the Arsenal now that Thierry Henry, who just came back from injury and who came on as a brief substitute in yesterday’s Champions League ouster against PSV Eindhoven, has injured himself once again. This time he could be out for several weeks.
Before the PSV match, Henry declared that he was still paying the price for coming back too soon at the start of the season. And now it looks as if that price has gotten even steeper. (Although, that’s not actually Thierry groin being massaged to the left. Just so you know.)
I guess it’s appropriate to ask at this point: is this a lost season for the Arsenal? Beyond the bright spot of the continuing development of the youth brigade…well, that’s about it. For purposes of this site, however, the release of pressure should make for some interesting backstories as the Prem season winds itself down. And what will this new injury do to the inevitable Henry-to-Barca-or-wherever rumours?
Stay tuned!

“Is there any other kind?”
Giggle. You are the first to make me laugh out loud today. I am SO stealing this line for my France page. (But I’ll credit you and give the link, so it’s okay.)
