Toure Putting His Feet Up, Getting Comfy in North London
By: Trent | October 24th, 2006
Arsenal defender Kolo Toure has inked a new deal with the club that should keep him at Ashburton Grove for the long haul. The details of the Ivorian’s new contract haven’t been released, although the club hints that it’s “long term” and I hint that it inovles “a farkload of cash”.
A great signing for the club, to be sure. For the cherry on top, Toure made Football365’s We Love to Love You XI, edging out Reading and Ecuador back Ulises de la Cruz, who every week gives half of his wages to charity.
Which isn’t that big of a deal, really. Wayne Rooney gives half of his weekly wages to charity as well. Actually, make that Charity, who works on a steet corner right near Old Trafford.

I give half my weekly wages over to the pub down the street. When will Arsenal offer a contract extension?
