Chances that Arsene buy a new dm are slim. He’ll probably stick with Diaby, Denilson and Song. Rotating the three of them to assure them first team football. He’ll buy on if they are either: 1)Free agent
2)Not purchase by any other club
By doing so, Wenger won’t use a lot of money. I’m not agaisnt his plans, but at least, I hope it will work.

My guess is: Wenger wants either Diaby or Denilson to become Melo-type players and Song to become plus defensive-oriented. In such a case, if his intetions turn out just like he planned, it’s going to be very efficient. However, as a fan, we want result as fast as possible ad, by the way those players are developing, it isn’t fast enough neither good enough.

Furthermore, it isn’t because they are playing regularly that they are necessarily good…Anyway, Buying a Dm would be ideal, yet it would show that Wenger wants to accelerate his plans. However, it would unbalanced in some sort, the team.

I say: Arsenal should try to buy a new Dm. It essential. However, if they cannot, it should not be a serious matter.

Melo is a huge loss, but Cana would be huge. He’s got a good (that is, fiery) temper like Melo, as well as good leadership skills.

I agree with tedroni on sakho and zapata for the back line. I disagree with Gooner though. While Matuidi is young, we’ve stuck with plenty of seemingly classless players lately (namely Diaby, Bendtner, Eboue); I’m ready for Wenger to bring in a new class (or at least play Vela or Merida more often). Matuidi could work out (again, at least not regressively as Diaby has played).

Also from Etienne, Dabo, the defender would be bomb.com.

I would really like to see de rossi here in arsenal, he is what we really need. but first he loves his club that he wouldnt leave to anywhere else, and second madrid tried to get him and they said we are not selling but his price is more than 40 million euros. for me now that we missed out on melo, I’d rather see cana come, if not inler. I dont think that matuidi is arsenal quality

i remember that game, but rosicky has been broken ever since. inler would be ok. I’m totally into Matuidi, but he’s still pretty green yet.

i know this is out of our (spending) league, but I still say Daniele De Rossi would fit our formation like a glove. He’d be worth the splash, methinks. But more realistically, I’d still love to us pick up Zapata, Sakho, and Matuidi.

HaHAH! Thanks for the shout-out, Martin, it’s made my day. And I’ll stick by what I said; before you mentioned me, you talked about “Rosicky’s return” and glad he’s back etc. etc. The thing is I don’t think he’ll ever be back. In many ways, Eduardo still isn’t back. I don’t mean in the sense that he’s not the same player, I mean, the man is still not on the pitch most of the time.
