Well, Yes, it IS Good to Have Adebayor Back

johnson_cheer.jpgFirst off, sorry for the absence. Illness, elections; Best laid plans of mice and men and all that.

Moving along, Arsenal bounced back from Sunday’s loss to West Ham with a 1-0 Carling Cup fourth-round win over Everton at Goodison Park. Emmanuel Adebayor’s 88th-minute winner was enough for the visitors to slide on in to the quarter finals.

No manager fights this time ’round, but there was of course some controversy.

For Everton fans, the 13th-minuite send off of James McFaddon and a penalty no-call drew their ire towards the referee Graham Poll. As for that penalty no-call, Everton striker Andy Johnson says he’s still battling the “diver” slur.
