Wenger Says the Ladies Are Alright By Him
By: Trent | November 20th, 2006And I think he’s right. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says that football officiating jobs should be open to all qualified humans. This seems sensible enough. Although, there is of course opposition that remains.
In fact just last week Steven Cohen was on my television crowing about the ridiculousness of female referees. I believe his argument boiled down to, Footballers are such d*cks that female refs couldn’t handle the agressive treatment generally given to male officials. Hopefully I am misconstruing his argument.
At any rate, A-Dub’s correct on this one.
