West Ham, Old Man Await Arsenal
By: Trent | November 3rd, 2006
Arsenal travel across London on Sunday to tangle with West Ham United. The Hammers ended a recent winless streak last weekend behind the scoring prowess of 57-year-old striker Teddy Sheringham. Sheri is so old, his son plays in the Coca-Cola Championship with Crystal Palace.
But Arsene Wenger says he knows enough to fear the ageless wonder. “Teddy Sheringham in the Blackburn game has showed how much experience can make a difference,” says the Arsenal boss.
And good news for Gunners: Emmanuel Adebayor is set to return from his thigh-induced absence.

“Would surely be an interesting all-London tie. West Ham finally won last weekend. As for Arsenal, they are playing great entertaining football, but just no goals. Well, entertaining for non-arsenal fans. IF Arsenal really wants to get the 3 points, they really need to get serious. Stop all those unnecessary play. Get back to basics, which is to score.
