Have been meeting several football fans on my travels, and have had a chance to revel in the victory over Spurs with some strangers here and there.

All weekend on skysports and the Fox Soccer Report I’ve seen that league table with Arsenal on top and I’ve had to keep staring at it, blinking my eyes a couple of times, to make sure I’m not hallucinating. I know it won’t last (tho one can dream) but I’m loving every moment of it, esp. when I encounter some Spurs supporters at the local bar in Brooklyn where I often go to watch games with fellow NY gooners.

You know it won’t last? It’ll last all right. We have all of the makeup to go all the way this year. Our kids are finally coming of age, our midfield has begun scoring, our defense is looking solid… All we need is a decent goalkeeper. If Jens gets back on form, Arsenal could be the Premier League Champions this year.
