What the Mancs Are Saying
By: Trent | January 22nd, 2007Or at least, what the Mancs’ heroes are saying. On the heels of Sunday’s gutting loss at the Emirates Stadium, S’alex Ferguson was certainly not in panic mode. Although many now see the title chase as opened up again, the Red Devils’ boss says that how his team performs in response to the defeat will demonstrate whether they are in fact champions.
The visitors’ captain, however, was somewhat less sanguine. Or at any rate, he admitted that the stunning Gunners’ victory was a “kick in the teeth”.
To be fair, I’m not sure how one would know if the Neviller had been kicked in the teeth.
