What’s Up with Gilberto?

Brazil and Arsenal man Gilberto Silva had had to leave the team due to a “family problem”. He’s now back in Brazil, and looks set to miss Saturday’s match against Newcastle?
Arsene Wenger confirmed that Gilberto–who missed Brazil’s mid-week friendly against Switzerland–had indeed returned to his home country to handle a personal matter. A-Dub did not, however, confirm what the particular issue was. This site dedicated to Gilberto was likewise devoid of details.
Here’s hoping it works out well for Gilberto and his family. Let’s hope for all concerned that it’s a personal issue unrelated to this.
